Shelter of piece!!! home of wanderer !!!! The stunning rock figures

A cave can be such a beautiful?Such a splendid?you too would have the same reaction when you would travel through such a  beautiful and stunning rock figures-
It has been used as a wanderer's living place for many years.But these caves  not mere used as a living place,many Indian caves have found with some great mark of history and culture..The caves of
Ajanta -Elora is one of them.

Ajanta and Elora caves are the prime tourist's attraction place,which is situated in India's Maharashtra state in Marathvada region.
Both the caves have historical importance,Ajanta caves are situated in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district,,and  the biggest collection of Buddhist's  historical  evidences.
 
These are the collection about thirty rock cut Buddhist monuments,which are dated from 2nd century BCE to 480-650 CE.The row collection of sculpture and paintings is marked as the "finest example of Indian art".Specially the paintings

speaks about the Buddhist religious art,master peace of jatak tales and figure of Budha .Presently Ajanta caves are in care of Indian archaeological survey and a protected monument. Ajanta caves has been an UNESCO world heritage sites since 1983.


Elora caves ,an archaeological sites ,build by Rashtrakuta Dynasty and Yadav ,is a  monumental collection of Buddists,Jain and Brahmanical  group .Elora is situated 29 km from north -west direction to Aurangabad,Maharashtra.
These temples are built between 5th and 10 th century.Among these 34 caves ,Hindu ,Buddhists and Jain included with Viharas and Mathas.There are around 12 Buddhists caves,17 Hindu caves and 5 Jain caves ,which beautifully demonstrate the religious harmony prevailed during this period.
These rock cut caves are distinguised with numbers ,the 16 th number cave is it self a big temple-named as "
Kailash Temple"-which is considered to be the "most remarkable cave temple in India".
Elora is also under the Indian archaeological survey and has been an UNESCO world heritage sites.
The Dashadvatar cave,the Indra sabha ,and the only "chaitya graha " amongst  the Buddhist group of caves,which is known as the "Vishwakarma caves","Celestial architect ","Sutar ka jhopada",is another name of
Vishwakarma caves. 


These are some glimpses  of such a huge and oldest  civilization.The monuments of our great golden history.....
